Marilyn Jess, née Dominique Troyes le 26 octobre 1959, parfois surnommée « Patinette » ou « Platinette », était une actrice française de films pornographiques.
Elle fut pendant près de dix ans, de la seconde moitié de la décennie 1970 jusqu’à la fin des années 1980, l’actrice la plus connue du cinéma X français en aimable concurrence avec Brigitte Lahaie. Partageant avec cette dernière une blondeur éclatante, qui lui vaudra d’ailleurs son surnom de « Platinette », elle s’en distingue par son caractère pétillant et son désarmant naturel par opposition au type de beauté plus froide de Brigitte. Sa gentillesse, aussi sincère que proverbiale, lui attirera d’ailleurs la sympathie de toute la profession.
