Tanya Roberts est une actrice et productrice américaine née le 15 octobre 1955 à The Bronx, New York (États-Unis).
Elle est issue d'une famille modeste.
Elle se marie une première fois à l'âge de 15 ans mais le mariage est vite annulé.
Guère plus âgée, elle épouse ensuite Barry Roberts, le futur scénariste.
Elle tourne dans quelques publicités, joue au théâtre sans rien vraiement de bien convaincant.
Elle apparaît ensuite plutôt dénudée dans plusieurs films.
Elle participe à plusieurs pilotes de série et obtient un rôle remarqué dans la série "Drôles de dames".
Elle sera enfin James bond girl dans "Dangeuresement votre".
Plus récemment, elle joue dans la série télé "That's 70 show" où elle campe le rôle de la mère....
