Avec son admirable toison fauve, son ravissant sourire, ses yeux pétillants de malice, elle représentait le glamour des déesses de l'écran dans ce qu'il a de plus fascinant. Hollywood a imposé à l'admiration des foules des stars d'une rare perfection physique mais je n'hésite pas à écrire que Susan Hayward fut mieux que belle : un plaisir pour les yeux, splendidement femme.
