Jonathan Brandis est un acteur américain. Il est né le 13 avril 1976 à Danbury, Connecticut et s'est suicidé (pendaison) le 12 novembre 2003 à Los Angeles. Enfant unique.
Il a été connu dès l'âge de 5 ans grâce à des publicités (il en a fait environ 80).
Il avait joué notamment dans Ça (adaptation du roman Ça de Stephen King), L'Histoire sans fin II où il a cotoyé John Wesley Shipp (Mitch Leery de Dawson et l'interprète de Flash), Ladybugs et dans la série SeaQuest, police des mers sans oublier "Sidekicks" avec Chuck Norris.
En 1994, il part en République Tchèque où il joue le rôle du Roi Wenceslas.
On a pu le voir dans : "Sledge Hammer", "LA Law", "Full House", "Who's The Boss", "Blossom" "Murder She Wrote", "Alien Nation", "The Flash" et "The Wonder Years"....
