Actrice et Artiste ( Américaine) Charisma Carpenter est née le 23 juillet 1970 à Las Vegas. Elle a commencé à faire de la danse classique dès 5 ans. Sa famille a déménagé à Mexico, Charisma est entrée à l'université de San Diego. Elle a fait beaucoup de petits boulots pour payer ses études. Une fois installée à Los Angeles, elle a été repérée par un agent qui l'a lancée dans la carrière d'actrice. Elle a d'abord joué dans des publicités, puis un petit rôle dans Alerte à Malibu. Quand elle a auditionné pour jouer dans Buffy, c'était pour le rôle-titre! Elle obtiendra un rôle secondaire qui la fera tout de même connaître au grand public, celui de Cordelia Chase. Une fois sortie de cette série, elle reprendra son rôle au sein de la série Angel, avec David Boreanaz....
