Artiste, Batteur et Musicien ( Anglais) Né le 31 mai 1948Décédé le 25 septembre 1980 (à l'âge de 32 ans) John Henry "Bonzo" Bonham (31 mai 1948 à Redditch, près de Birmingham, en Angleterre - 25 septembre 1980), fut l'un des batteurs les plus renommés des années 1970. Son nom est surtout associé au groupe hard-rock Led Zeppelin.
Bonham est né en Angleterre à Redditch dans le Worcestershire. Très jeune, John commence déjà à frapper sur des pots et des casseroles avec des bâtons plutôt artisanaux en copiant le style de ses idoles, Gene Krupa et Buddy Rich. À l'âge de 10 ans, sa mère lui offre un tambour qu'il ne lâcha jamais. À 15 ans, il reçoit sa première batterie usagée ; un cadeau de son père, cadeau dont il prit toujours soin. C'était une Premier qui a très vite rouillé.
