Actrice et Artiste ( Américaine) Sarah Jessica Parker est née le 25 mars 1965 à Nelsonville dans l'Ohio. Elle est la quatrième enfant d'une famille de huit. Passionnée de chant et de danse, elle débute tôt dans le métier.
En 1976, sa famille quitte l'Ohio pour aller dans le New Jersey. Elle obtient son tout premier rôle à Broadway dans The Innocents. La jeune fille fait du théâtre jusqu'en 1982. Elle décroche un des rôles principaux dans la sitcom Square Pegs. Après avoir obtenu le bac, elle décide de renoncer à l'université pour se consacrer entièrement au métier d'actrice. Après la fin de la série, Sarah Jessica Parker fait quelques apparitions au cinéma dans des rôles secondaires, tout en continuant à jouer au théâtre.
L'actrice joue ensuite dans les séries A Year In The Life et Equal Justice. Elle fréquente l'acteur Robert Downey Jr avec lequel elle vit plusieurs années. Elle entretient ensuite une brève roman...
