David Charvet, de son vrai nom David Franck Charvet[1] est un acteur et chanteur français, né le 15 mai 1972 à Lyon.
Son père, un homme d'affaires tunisien, Paul Guez, divorce de sa mère, Christiane Charvet, en 1974. Sa mère se remarie et David a 5 demi-sœurs (Irene, Tanya, Debra, Keira, Elizabeth) et un demi-frère (Daniel). Il vit à Boulogne-Billancourt jusqu'à l'âge de 9 ans puis rejoint son père parti s'installer aux États-Unis pour relancer la mode du jeans (il détient aujourd'hui en propre ou sous licence les marques Yanük, Duarte Jeans, U, Antik, Taverniti So Jeans, Rick Owens, etc.). David obtient quelques années plus tard une green card lui permettant de résider aux Etats-Unis.
Il est fiancé au mannequin Brooke Burke. Ils sont les parents d'une petite fille, Heaven Rain Charvet née le 8 janvier 2007 et d'un petit garçon, Shaya Charvet, né le 5 mars 2008.
