Ronnie Smith, né le 21 avril 1962 à Galveston (Texas, États-Unis) et mort le 17 décembre 2011, est un joueur de basket-ball américain naturalisé français qui évoluait au poste d'intérieur (2,06m).
Ronnie Smith a bâti une grande partie de sa carrière sur ses capacités défensives. Suffisamment grand pour un pivot dans le contexte européen, sa carrure lui permettait de faire rempart contre bien des assauts.
À son arrivée à Vichy, il dispose de très peu de références universitaires américaines (2,7 points et 2,8 rebondds lors de sa dernière année), mais il parvient à s'imposer dans cette équipe (19,9 points et 9,8 rebonds), qui est pourtant reléguée en Nationale 3 pour des raisons financières.
