Daniel Hulet est un dessinateur de bandes dessinées belge né le 25 août 1945 à Etterbeek, et décédé à Ostende le 9 septembre 2011.
Il débute sa carrière comme publicitaire avant de collaborer à plusieurs hebdomadaires dont Tintin et Spirou.
En 1980, il débute Pharaon sur un texte de André-Paul Duchâteau. En 1985, il entre au mensuel Vécu, où il réalise Les Chemins de la gloire avec Jan Bucquoy, puis seul.
Deux ans plus tard, il entame Etat Morbide pour les Editions Glénat, trilogie sombre dans un climat post-industriel. En 1996, il reprend la série Pharaon, toujours ancrée entre espionnage et fantastique. Avec Immondys, il inaugure la nouvelle collection "Carrément BD" des Editions Glénat.
En 2003, il propose Extra-Muros aux éditions Casterman. Au fil de ses collaborations Daniel Hulet a proposé des oeuvres fortes et originales.
