Elizabeth Anne Ford (née Bloomer) connue sous le nom de Betty Ford, née le 8 avril 1918 et morte le 8 juillet 2011, est l'épouse de l'ancien président des États-Unis, Gerald R. Ford (1913-2006) et a été la Première dame des États-Unis de 1974 à 1977. Elle est la fondatrice du centre de désintoxication Betty Ford Center et une récipiendaire de la médaille d'or du Congrès.
Née à Chicago, Elizabeth Ann Bloomer est le troisième enfant et la seule fille de William Stephenson Bloomer Sr., un vendeur pour Royal Rubber Co., et de son épouse, Hortense Neahr. Elle a deux frères aînés, Robert et William Jr., et après avoir brièvement habité à Denver, elle grandit à Grand Rapids, Michigan, où elle sort diplômée du secondaire à la Central High School.
