Garret FitzGerald (en irlandais Gearóid MacGearailt1), né le 9 février 1926 à Dublin et mort le 19 mai 20112, est un homme politique irlandais. Il fut le septième Premier ministre d'Irlande, fonction qu'il a exercée en deux temps : de juillet 1981 à février 1982 puis de décembre 1982 à mars 1987.
Membre du Fine Gael, FitzGerald a été élu au Seanad Éireann (Sénat) en 1965 et au Dáil Éireann depuis 1969. Il a été ministre des Affaires étrangères entre 1973 et 1977. Il a été le leader du Fine Gael entre 1977 et 1987.
Garret FitzGerald est le fils de Desmond FitzGerald qui fut le premier ministre des Affaires étrangères de l’État libre d'Irlande.
FitzGerald était chancelier de la National University of Ireland.
