Michel Joseph Martelly, né le 12 février 1961 à Port-au-Prince, surnommé Sweet Micky (« Micky le doux » en français) ou Tet Kalé (« Boule à zéro » en créole), est un musicien, compositeur et homme d'État haïtien.
Michel Martelly est un homme politique de droite avec des liens avec les partisans du coup d'État de 1991 en Haïti1,2.
Il annonce en juillet 2010 sa candidature à l'élection présidentielle. Le 21 avril 2011, le Conseil électoral provisoire le déclare officiellement vainqueur du second tour de scrutin, qui s'est tenu le 20 mars précédent, avec 67,57 % des voix face à Mirlande Manigat.
Son investiture a lieu le 14 mai 2011.
