Dana Dawson, née le 7 août 1974 à New York et morte le 10 août 2010, était une chanteuse américaine.
Elle fait ses débuts très tôt dans le monde du théâtre à l'âge de sept ans dans la pièce Annie, dans le rôle de l'orpheline July. À treize ans, elle entame une carrière de chanteuse grâce à Jacqueline Taïeb qui lui a écrit Ready to follow you (1988), titre qui resta longtemps classé en tête des meilleures ventes de 45 tours. Il faudra cependant attendre un peu avant de retrouver la jeune et jolie chanteuse.
À seize ans, elle enregistre enfin un premier album intitulé Paris New York and Me (1991) (clin d'œil à sa ville natale et à celle qui lui offrit sa première chance : Paris).
