Charlie Barnett (23 Septembre 1954 - 16 Mars 1996) était un acteur et comédien américain.
Barnett est né à Bluefield en Virginie-Occidentale aux Etats-Unis. Il s'est d'abord fait un nom lui-même dans la fin des années 1970 et début des années 1980, en faisant des spectacles de comédie dans des parcs en plein à New York, notamment à Washington Square Park, où il a participé à des spectacles de rue avec des musiciens, joueurs de frisbee, des jongleurs et autres artistes.
En Septembre 1980, Barnett a été auditionné pour Saturday Night Live, mais le producteur Jean Doumanian, qui était prêt à l'embaucher, a finalement remplacé Barnett par Eddie Murphy.
Barnett est ensuite apparu au cinéma et la télévision dans la comédie de 1983 "DC Cab" où il a joué le rôle de Tyrone. Il avait également un rôle récurrent dans la série télévisée populaire des années 1980 "Miami Vice" où il jouait l...
